DIY Craft: How to Make Boot Shapers
Cold air, chopped lips, thirsty skin. Why winter always put us here to suffer its cruelty? And it is a common acknowledge that people should wear so many clothes to keep warm. And with no doubt, boots can always be a good choice for keeping your body temperature while looking chic at the same time. Especially long leather boots, they can cover your knees but still your feet won’t feel soak. Therefore, how to maintain the leather boots seems to be a difficult but important question. No matter how good they looks, it’s hard to care for leather boots.
After you made a purchase, take a note: If you put your boots away after wearing them. Then the boots tube will bend down so it gets out of shape easily. Remember, use boots shapers every time right after wearing! If you don’t have boots shaper or you’re into Diy crafts. This is a cheap DIY boots shaper made from empty water bottles and waste fabric. - Prepare these material: empty bottles, hot glue gun, scissors, fringe, fake fur, ribbon, tape. You’ll need 4 bottles for a pair of DIY boot shapers.
- Make the bottle, cut off the head of your prepared water bottle.

- Cut along the black dashed line.
- Put 2 bottles together one into another. Then secured the edge with your tape. You can roll over your tape for few times to get a tighter bond.
- Cut a length of ribbon and lightly burn the two side of ribbon in case it split. Then cut a hole in the tape.
- Add the fringe to ribbon, follow the picture and knot the ribbon.
- Glue the ribbon tape onto the bottle.
- Put the bottle on the fake fur and mark the size with a pen. Then cut with your scissors.
- Put the fake fur around your bottle and glue it tight.
- Use the round shape fur as a hat to your bottle.
- Remove the extra fur.
- Same to the other side. A beautiful boots shaper is done!
