Great for Brewing Iced Tea4by Seinfeldfan 10/08/2017I spent lots of time online looking for the perfect glass pitcher that would allow me to pour boiling water directly into it in order to brew iced tea. I've used this pitcher almost daily for over a month now and am very pleased with it. I pour two cups boiling water into it, add one family sized tea bag, brew for a few minutes, then add 2 cups cold water. I then chill in fridge. My only complaint is that the lid (2 pieces) doesn't really seal all the way. There are little slits in it (to allow for pouring) that are open all the time. I find the size to be small, so that's good if you're looking for a something that won't take up much size in your fridge. However, it wouldn't be ideal for serving beverages to lots of folks as it doesn't hold that many cups. Overall, thumbs up. The company even emailed me to ask how I liked it.

Sun Tea Pitcher5by Robin Downey 10/07/2017I have purchased several glass water pitchers to brew my sun tea in. Most of them are just too heavy. This is very light and as some reviewers have said seems a little fragile. I just take care not to wack it on the counter edge. It is the perfect size for 3 iced teas. Cleans up easily. Fit my needs perfectly.

I think this is expensive for what it is, ...3by Amber 03/07/2017I think this is expensive for what it is, and because it's so light and thin, I'm worried it's going to break. With hindsight, I'd have paid much less for a thicker, heavier weight one, because this just feels too flimsy.

My use case: I cold brew iced tea overnight to have something zero-calorie other than water to drink during the day. - Glass is *very* thin, but borosilicate is strong stuff. I haven't had any problems with it, but I'm sure dropping it on a hard surface or hitting it with a hammer would break it. It's glass. - It looks (and works) great: Handle is convenient size, doesn't drip, etc. - The lid actually comes fully apart, so it can be thoroughly cleaned. - Holds enough for several glasses of beverage throughout the day for one person. How to make iced tea: - One "family/quart size" bag of Luzianne tea - Fill with water - Put in fridge Leave in fridge overnight, or a few hours. Serve over ice.

Very nice4by TMMT 28/04/2017I love this pitcher, it's comfortable to hold, the lid is high quality, secure, and fits nice and snug. Well made. The handle is glass though so I keep it as my bedroom water pitcher, rather than in my busy kitchen out of fear the glass handle will accidentally break. The handle is adequately strong to hold the full pitcher full of water.
